    Job Description

    M&A INVESTMENT ANALYST  

    Aramsco, a family of companies, is a leading solutions provider to specialty contractors across North America, serving numerous end markets including abatement, restoration, cleaning and surface preparation. The company has more than 70 locations through which it distributes products, equipment and chemicals, and provides customers with other value-added services including equipment repair, equipment rental and education. Aramsco is owned by Odyssey Investment Partners, a New York based private equity firm.

    The company is currently seeking a driven and organized Merger and Acquisition Investment Analyst to join the M&A team. The analyst position is a high impact role on a highly visible team. The M&A Investment Analyst will get first-hand experience in high number of transactions and work with companies ranging from $3mm to $100mm+ in revenue.

    The M&A Investment Analyst will report direct to the VP of Business Development.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

     

    • Track and analyze prospect origination activity using Salesforce software.
    • Process incoming raw financial and other company information into summary profiles for the VP of Business Development
    • Assist in due diligence by coordinating the information flow, reviewing and analyzing company information.
    • Conduct detailed research on prospective companies across the Company’s core and adjacent markets.
    • Review and ensure quality and accuracy of the operating and financial performance analysis in M&A presentations

     

    REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • 0-3 years of post-undergrad experience at an investment bank, investment firm, accounting firm or corporate development division of a company preferred.

    • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university (pre-MBA).

    • Fit within Aramsco’s culture of hard work, honesty and integrity.

    • High level of energy and a desire to flourish in a fast-paced evolving environment with ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing business environment.

    • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    • Experience reading/interpreting financial statements

    • Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information.

    • Extreme attention to detail.
