    We are currently seeking an HR Manager to join our Franklin, TN office. The ideal candidate will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.  The position will partner with the CFO and other HR Support to manage the employee relations, employee development, talent management, organizational development functions and day-to-day operations and procedures in the Human Resources (HR) department in a multi-state environment.    

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with leadership and establish HR plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.
    • Partner with management leaders and their teams to develop and execute the HR strategies and activities that foster growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness. This includes taking ownership for designing, building and implementing programs, processes and tools to help set managers and employees up for success. 
    • Assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development and leadership development and drive the appropriate solutions in these areas. 
    • Provide HR leadership to team and support functions including coaching, mentoring and professional development for the team.
    • Partner with leadership and management teams to identify opportunities to attract, develop and retain people to achieve their fullest potential.  Manage the recruiting process.
    • Coach and counsel managers on maintaining positive employee relations on a wide range of issues. May include conducting investigations in response to Employee Relations issues and recommend / implement courses of action based on investigation results.
    • Support the analysis and facilitation of leadership and cultural initiatives. Use influence and coaching skills to cultivate a culture that reflects our core values.
    • Act as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations. 
    • Assist with the communication and rollout of updated or new HR programs and policies.
    • Manage all benefit programs. Manage open enrollment inclusive of communicating benefit plans to employees.  Managed benefit analysis and recommendations.
    • Develop and maintain required company-wide regulatory training.  
    • Develop job descriptions with managers input.
    • Maintain employee files meeting all regulatory guidelines. 
    • Improve the structured performance review process.
    • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings, etc.
    • Engage with outside resources to develop and maintain relationships in regard to benefits, HR compliance, etc.
    • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
    • Provides other human resources support as needed.

     

    Requirements

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources Management or related field preferred. 
    • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR or PHR highly desired.
    • 5 plus years’ progressive HR work experience.
    • 2 plus years’ experience in full-cycle recruitment.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resource concepts and company HR policies, programs and procedures.
    • Maintains personal composure when confronted with difficult situations, with the ability to gain trust and respect with all levels of staff and management.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with all business units to achieve common goals.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously to employees and management.
    • Structured problem solving skills.
    • Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal.
    • Ability to prioritize with limited direction.
    • Experience using computer hardware and software.
    • Experience with working in a team environment in a remote workforce setting.
    • Conducts oneself with integrity, honesty and knowledge to promote a respectful work environment.
    • Follows up on decisions, actions and commitments.
    • Ability to work flexible hours to manage HR issues with employees both on the East coast and West coast.
    • Ability to travel to office locations across the US.
