    WORKING CONDITIONS

     

    OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    To plan, lead, organize, and control all aspects of warp knitting greige production including, short / long-term capacity planning and asset utilization, knitting machine maintenance repair, human resource planning, training, utilization, and greige quality performance.

     

     

     

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

     

    • Planning production machinery and human resources to meet production targets
    • Develop and maintain appropriate maintenance schedules
    • Manage cost center to budget
    • Develop and implement training programs for associates
    • Achieve desired quality levels of greige fabric and RPD performance
    • Provide innovative options for machinery choice and be abreast of the latest available machinery

    SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED

     

    • 5 plus years’ experience managing warp knitting production department
    • knowledge of warp knit constructions
    • knowledge of yarns and warping
    • Completion of Karl Mayer or similar training program.

    EDUCATION:

    • Valid medical license (within state working)
    • Valid DEA License
    • CPR Certifications
    • Medical Examiners Certification for DOT physicals (ME certification may be acquired within the first 30 days of employment)
