Do you have a background in Human Resources where your work leading the functions of the HR department has helped create a high performing organization? If so, Birchwood Foods would like to harness your expertise in human resources management. Your skills will serve you in the primary role of coordination of our company’s workforce at our facility in Kenosha, WI. 

As HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER, reporting to the Corporate Vice President of HR & Safety, you’ll be responsible for shaping and sustaining processes and practices in all areas of HR including talent acquisition of production staff, guiding managers and employees in performance management, on boarding, government compliance, employee communications and events, and more. You will partner with Birchwood’s Safety Manager, HR Assistant, and the Operations team to drive improvements and implement sound HR practices. This is a hands-on role which requires the ability to think on a strategic level as well as develop strong relationships with employees.

If you have demonstrated acumen in all areas of human resources, employment law, collaborating with internal and external business partners, relationship building, labor relations, and general business operations (preferably within manufacturing or food production industries), and have at least an Associate’s degree in human resources or related field, with a minimum of five years of demonstrated success as an HR leader, please apply!
