Technical Writer-API Services #JR1000140 Deer Park, NY Req Num JR1000140 Location Options Deer Park, NY Job Summary Broadridge Client Communications is growing and we have the opportunity to add another talented associate to our team! As the Technical Writer, you will be responsible to craft and update the Digital Center of Excellence (COE)'s product documentation to support the sales process and the integration of our API services with internal business unit's and channel partner's product offerings. Responsibilities * You will define the product documentation guidelines for the product descriptions, user stories, FAQ's, and other related documentation. * Work with the product managers to understand the products and the user stories to create documentation that increases the user's product knowledge and integration with the Digital COE API products. * You will write, review, edit, revise and amend the product documents to include the latest product information. Use content, design, and style guidelines to produce a readable, comprehensive, and a concise document that is easy to use. * You will also maintain and update existing documentation to add new services and confirm to documentation standards. * You'll build online product documentation with a topic based digital format for integration with the informational portal to enhance the user experience. * You'll maintain document versioning for Sharepoint and or web portal services. Skills * Works well with others to foster teamwork to deliver documentation and meet the delivery schedule. * Effective organizational skills to manage multiple documentation projects, document version control, and meeting project timelines. * Excellent writing and communication skills to craft product documents for business owners and product managers that explains the product/service functionality. * Ability to ramp up quickly to understand and interpret the product services to deliver quality documentation.
