Globe Life is hiring a full-time attorney in the Company’s in-house legal department. This attorney will primarily be responsible for providing legal counsel to the Company’s Marketing Department and to Agency Administrative Departments at the Company’s subsidiaries. The position will have a hybrid remote / in-office schedule. Our offices are located in McKinney, Texas.

Must possess comprehensive understanding of attorney/client privilege
Willingness to learn the legal and regulatory framework of the insurance industry is required (if not already familiar)
Must receive direction well in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Proficient or ability and willingness to become proficient in proof review software such as Workfront
Ability and willingness to learn and become proficient in other software tools, as required
Ability to read and write
Maintain compliance with Legal Rules of Professional Responsibility
Ability to read and write in Spanish is not required, but would be a plus
