THE ROLE
Are you looking for a role that is both exciting and rewarding? As an AMS Campus Recruiter, you will be supporting a premier client's diversity hiring goals for their Internship and Business Leadership Program (BLP) program through University Partnerships, Diversity Networking, and Conference engagements. This role provides the opportunity to give input on event planning as well as travel to events. You will also assist team with Campus Recruiting event planning responsibilities. The role of the Campus Recruiter is to develop and deliver excellent recruitment services to the client but also to build strong people relationships with hiring managers, university partners, vendor partners, and the rest of the Campus team. Must feel confident utilizing recruitment technology applications and managing end-to end processes to provide recruitment services for multiple business units.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Build diverse candidate pipeline of students across various program levels and business functions in support of the client's diversity hiring initiatives
Ensure that internship and externship recruitment services are delivered.
Lead vacancy consultation discussions for our campus recruiting program with our client.
Building and maintaining client relationships with hiring managers.
Manage candidate relationships from interview through start date.
Conduct telephone screens using templates ensuring that all candidates submitted meet required quality standards for the programs.
Diversity-focused Event Planning for National/Regional conferences, Student Groups, Sync-UP, Symposium, Externship, and Internship Programs
Attend Diversity job fairs, conferences, networking events and seminars as agreed upon with client
Proactively source and engage with diverse campus talent utilizing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, WayUp, Yello, and resume databases.
Promote early career opportunities and diversity focused events on LinkedIn to drive engagement with diverse talent pool.
Track progress of candidate engagement and ensure all qualified BLP opportunities are being considered
Provide a world-class candidate experience and provide timely communication and feedback throughout all stages of the interview process
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Working to and meeting demanding targets and deadlines
Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates, ideally in a campus setting
Managing candidates through the full end-to-end recruitment
Using recruitment technology and recruitment databases
Able to influence and persuade managers to take action when needed
