The Senior Director of Quality and will be tasked with leading the development, implementation, and continual improvement of quality assurance and quality control functions for new product development activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong leadership with the capability to participate at the c-suite executive level with articulate, meaningful change recommendations.
- Participate in the sales group in contacting and providing support to customers facing major/chronic issues about products. Represent the company with customers by leading or participating in quality meetings and reviews as well as being part of the response and reporting process when required.
- Establish strategies for the development and implementation of quality pharmaceutical safety systems to reduce customer complaints, claims, scrap rates for, assure their expedient, complete, and correct application.
- Develop and execute the implementation of pharmaceutical safety systems & programs required by significant customers.
- Implement and maintain Quality/GMP Job Observation program.
- Maintain laboratories in compliance with GLP requirements.
- Interpretation of cGMP guidelines and communications/ distribution to key personnel.
- Final evaluation and authorization of deviations/OOS handling, including CAPA.
Educational and other skill requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Business or related Engineering field.
- 10 + years’ experience in Pharmaceutical or Over the Counter (OTC) manufacturing.
- Managerial experience in leading direct reports across multi-site locations.
- Must have advanced knowledge of cGMPs and understanding of FDA and ICH guidelines.
- Advanced knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
