    SHIFT: 1st - Mon-Fri; 7:30am-4:00pm

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Summary: Provides administrative support to aide in operational success for the site through various HR, Quality, Safety, and Payroll avenues.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

    • Performs weekly payroll summary and submits to corporate payroll for processing by deadline.
    • Prepares required reports such as:
    • Bennett Report (Customer Matrix with Total OT hours worked for Salary & Hourly; Recordable Accidents/Incidents; Near Misses; Safety Talks Completed by Supervisors; Absenteeism %);
    • Staffing Agency Tracking Matrix listing all employees present daily, total and how many hours per day for part time on call employees);
    • KPI Charts -- Logistics and Customer Service (Delivery/Responsiveness -- hours worked OT, total hours and each crew); Attrition/People Development (People/Morale matrix -- Turnover Mgt. & Non-Mgt.);
    • Master crew sheets updates (whenever workload leveling changes job descriptions, employees are moved to different jobs)
    • Track All Employee Training Matrix (annual & specialized: fork truck, riding scrubber, burden carrier, tugger, strip & wax floors, KaiVac, Kaizen, etc.)
    • Safety Talk Matrices -- Track weekly supervisor safety talks completed/track hourly safety talks completed. Upload Safety Talk Matrices to OWL.
    • Staffing Agency tracking/updating seniority lists within the facility.
    • Assists managers and supervisors with employee documentation including written warnings, attendance warnings and Personnel Change Notices (PCN's).
    • Assists with recruitment and interview process, as requested.
    • Compiles new hire paperwork to include collective bargaining agreement, Standards of Conduct and Work Rules. Forward completed documents to corporate office.
    • Conducts new hire orientation.
    • Compiles overtime equalization and posting, as needed.
    • Scans all employees out when supervisors are not available.
    • Authorizes visitors.
    • Assists site manager and supervisors in computer training issues, as needed.
    • Makes photocopies, scans and faxes. Maintains files, papers and documents into appropriate files.
    • Works independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring and ongoing projects.

    Work Environment: This job operates typically in a professional office environment. Work environment faced paced, high performing. In the event any travel to site locations is necessary, the work environment may change.

    Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.     • Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
    • Other Qualifications: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
