    Oracle Cloud Functional Systems Analyst Location: City Of Atlanta Divisions: DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE Description Position Expires: 5/17/18 Salary Range: $58,800 to $78,400 annually; commensurate with experience The City of Atlanta Department of Finance is seeking an experienced Functional Systems Analyst who has production support and Oracle Cloud implementation experience. City of Atlanta Department of Finance Financial System Services (FSS) provides functional support for Oracle ERP financials and Oracle Planning and Budgeting. The FSS team supports the following ERP Modules: General Ledger, Supplier, Payables, Expenses, Receivables, Projects and Grants, Cash Management, Fixed Assets and Inventory, Payroll, and Advanced Collections. This position will work closely with other functional team members and technical staff to upgrade to Oracle Cloud from Oracle 11i and enhance business processes in the EBS system and will participate in various projects and initiatives crossing multiple ERP modules. The Functional Analyst is involved in configuring, upgrading, and maintaining Oracle Financial applications. In addition, they will map business requirements to standard functionality and partner with the business community to enhance and support Oracle Cloud applications. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, resourceful and able to work under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision and be effective in the team environment. Job Duties Primary Lead on a variety of tasks focused on support of multiple EBS modules. This includes work troubleshooting and resolving open issues, testing and conducting knowledge-sharing, training-sessions and production labs with module users. Provide subject matter expertise to support initiatives on Projects within the scope of the ERP support team. Maintain the system and operational documentation including business process and procedure documentation. Maintain module specific and End-to-End test scripts. Provide techno-functional expertise needed by the team to monitor and troubleshoot interfaces. Gathering business requirements, updating functional specifications, collaborating with technical resources in multiple agencies, and coordinating testing efforts. Create and enhance systems reports using several Oracle reporting tools. Provide functional knowledge and support to the team developing end-user training classes and materials. Work closely with development team in the creation and validation of interfaces. Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Required Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance and/or Computer Science At least three years functional analyst experience performing production support of Oracle Financials. Experience adding or changing system configurations. Experience documenting and implementing system or business process changes to address new business requirements or implement new system functionality. Knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles. Advanced skills with analysis and design including working with stakeholders to understand business requirements, system integration, and business process redesign. Knowledge and experience with multiple types of testing. Strong communication skills, including the ability to present concise and articulate analysis in both written and spoken form and experience documenting business processes and writing systems documentation. Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Desired: Oracle Cloud implementation and production support experience as Functional Analyst. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with multiple modules in two of the following business streams: Receivables, Project and Grants Financial Management. Project Management Experience Knowledge and understanding of public sector/government accounting practices. Experience in large public-sector organizations. Experience developing reports. Adaptable flexible and resourceful, capable of working under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines with limited resources. Self-starter; shows strong self-initiative to overcome issues and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
