    The position is full-time and will be based at our Chicago-area location in Downers Grove, IL.

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Pricing Competitive Intelligence Manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing competitive pricing data to provide actionable insights that support our pricing strategies. You will work closely with internal teams such as IT to ensure confidence in the data collected along with setting scraping cadence and validation requirements. This role will be pretty hands on and will stay current with market trends by product segment to inform pricing decisions. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of pricing scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

    • Competitive Intelligence & Market Research: Manage the collection and analysis of competitor pricing data, market trends, and customer behavior. Provide insights on competitor strategies and identify potential pricing opportunities or risks.

    • Tools & Methodologies: Leverage competitive intelligence tools, data platforms, and industry research to automate and streamline competitive intelligence processes. Leverage Python/ R to build validation frameworks and scaling of the matches to the remaining millions of items for price comparison. Stay current with emerging trends in competitive pricing and market changes.

    • Pricing Strategy and Optimization: Manage the creation of data-driven pricing strategies that align with the company's revenue and profit goals, taking into account market conditions, customer behavior, and competitor pricing. Build in house price optimization engine applying machine learning and optimization techniques to determine optimal pricing and discounting strategies for products and services

    • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze large (sometimes messy and incomplete) datasets, including sales, customer, and market data, to uncover insights and trends that can inform pricing decisions. Build and maintain pricing models to forecast demand elasticity, optimize price points, and identify opportunities for margin improvement.

    • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product, and Finance to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with overall business objectives and market positioning.

    • Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and present pricing analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders, ensuring that data-driven decisions are easily understood and actionable.

    • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with developments in data science, machine learning, and pricing methodologies. Continuously assess the performance of pricing strategies and iterate based on feedback and market conditions.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).

    Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience in analytics, pricing science, revenue management, or a similar analytical role.

    • Proven track record of building pricing models, pricing optimization techniques, and demand forecasting.

    • Familiarity with machine learning, regression models, and statistical analysis in the context of pricing.

    • Experience in managing teams and leading cross-functional initiatives.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel, etc.).

    • Solid understanding of pricing strategies, elasticity, segmentation, and competitive analysis.

    • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable pricing recommendations.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative, data-driven mindset.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

    **COMPENSATION:
    ** The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $140,000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additionally, this role is bonus-eligible, with a target bonus percentage that provides an opportunity to earn even more based on your performance. **

    Benefits: Radwell offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision coverage, for which employees contribute toward the premiums. The Company provides fully paid short- and long-term disability benefits, as well as $50,000 in Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance. These benefits, along with additional voluntary benefits offered through Unum, are available to all regular full-time employees beginning on their first day of employment. All employees are automatically enrolled at 3% into the Company’s 401(k) Plan on the first of the month following 90 days of continuous employment. Employees are eligible for 15 days of PTO annually, which begin accruing on the start date and may be used immediately. Radwell recognizes six Company-paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

    • Ability to interact and communicate with people over the telephone and/or in person, often in stressful situations.

    • Skill in the use of Hospital computer systems related to ADT order entry, requisitions, lab inquiries and other computerized processes and related software/hardware applications.

    • Knowledge of supplies, equipment ordering and inventory control.
    • Clerical, word processing and office skills.
    • Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instruction and safety precautions.
    • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
