DDIs Product Development group is seeking interns who can leverage machine learning and natural language processing techniques in a large, complex, dynamic, data-driven environment. A well-qualified candidate is a self-starter who is highly technical, excels at framing problems analytically, one who is comfortable working through ambiguity, and possesses the patience and persistence needed to see complex problems through to resolution. The candidate must be an excellent collaborator and able to present insights and describe complex ideas accurately and concisely. Responsibilities Partner effectively with software engineers & industrial/organizational psychologists and analysts to analyze structured and unstructured data. Design and produce predictive models in the context of DDIs products and services Collaborate with software engineers to experiment with novel sources of big data. Qualifications (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job) Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science or Masters in Machine Learning Proficiency in SPSS, R, and Excel; Python and SQL experience a plus Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy A team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills A self-starter who takes initiative to experiment and improve existing products and processes A programming background is a plus.
