    Location: Onsite – Willingboro, NJ or Downers Grove, IL
    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

    Radwell International is seeking an experienced Director, Compliance & Sustainability to lead enterprise-wide regulatory compliance efforts while advancing sustainability initiatives aligned with our business strategy and industry leadership. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role plays a critical part in ensuring operational integrity, risk management, and environmental responsibility across our global operations.


    Key Responsibilities

    Compliance Strategy & Leadership

    • Support the General Counsel in developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive global compliance program across all business operations
    • Ensure compliance with evolving regulations, including international trade, data privacy, anti-corruption, product regulatory requirements, and supply chain compliance
    • Monitor regulatory changes impacting parts distribution, repair services, and industrial manufacturing, and update compliance programs accordingly

    Policy, Risk & Oversight

    • Design, develop, and maintain company-wide policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards
    • Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
    • Establish and oversee compliance monitoring and auditing processes to identify and correct non-compliance

    Training, Reporting & Culture

    • Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all organizational levels
    • Support investigations into compliance incidents or potential misconduct, as directed by the General Counsel
    • Prepare and present reports on compliance activities, risks, and program effectiveness to senior leadership
    • Promote a strong culture of ethical behavior and compliance across the organization

    Sustainability Responsibilities

    • Support and execute Radwell’s sustainability strategy, including establishing measurable goals and KPIs
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives with business and Environmental, Health & Safety teams to reduce environmental impact (waste reduction, energy efficiency, carbon footprint reduction)
    • Assist with sustainability-related data collection, particularly to support Radwell’s role in the circular economy through repair, refurbishment, and responsible end-of-life management
    • Collaborate with supply chain teams to implement sustainable sourcing and procurement practices
    • Develop materials that support internal and external sustainability reporting and communications
    • Identify opportunities to leverage sustainability initiatives as a competitive advantage in the industrial parts market

    Team Leadership & Collaboration

    • Support the administration of a global Compliance & Sustainability Council
    • Partner with executive leadership to integrate compliance and sustainability into enterprise strategy
    • Collaborate with HR and operational leaders to develop training programs that reinforce compliance and sustainability best practices

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, business administration, engineering, or a related field
    • 8+ years of experience in compliance and/or sustainability roles, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
    • Experience administering a global compliance program within a multinational organization
    • Strong working knowledge of regulations impacting industrial manufacturing, parts distribution, or repair services
    • Experience supporting export classification reviews and customs classifications (HTS and Schedule B)
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
    • Demonstrated project management experience with successful program implementation

    Preferred

    • Master’s degree in a related field
    • Licensed Customs Broker or hands-on experience supporting international trade compliance
    • Professional certifications (e.g., CCEP, CIPP, PMP, CSR-P, LEED AP)
    • Experience in industrial manufacturing, distribution, or repair services environments
    • Working knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
    • Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, CDP)
    • Familiarity with circular economy principles and practices

    Compensation & Benefits

    Salary Range:
    The base salary range for this full-time position is $130,251 – $140,000 , based on job-related skills, experience, and education. This role is also eligible for a year-end company bonus tied to company performance.

  • Qualifications
    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Must have a Secret security clearance. The Department Chair must possess and maintain a SECRET security clearance as a condition of employment and retention. Failure to maintain a SECRET security clearance will be grounds to terminate employment.
    • Minimum Three years’ experience in teaching or leading a department in an accredited institution of higher learning or DoD academic institute.
    • And minimum Two years’ experience in curriculum and program development.
    • And reviewed or authored a research paper leading to a published article.
    • Must be able to travel.
    • Must be able and willing to plan, coordinate, integrate, and prepare staffing actions at the high-quality standard of HQDA.
    • Must be proficient at facilitation of a training and education session (Adult learning techniques).
    • Ability to work in team settings, communicate, and collaborate with multiple organizations.
    • Excellent oral communications skills.
    • Excellent written communications skills with the ability to write papers and to grade written papers at the executive communication level.
