    Job Description

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    • Oversee relationship with Sales organization including annual targets, commission process, pricing for new and renewing contracts, and new product launches while leading two analysts on the team
    • Provide decision support and thought leadership to the business teams in commercial matters spanning product, pricing, and other strategic initiatives. Develop analytics to leverage data and identify key insights and opportunities. Challenge business partners, as needed, to drive better decisions
    • Lead team in annual targeting and commission planning process and administering commissions throughout the year
    • Partner effectively with business teams to drive performance in excess of management expectations. 
    • Proactively engage and build strong relationships with the business teams to as to stay connected on strategies and initiatives
    • Analyze pricing data from variety of sources to derive insights into pricing strategies and market trends by leveraging both quantitative and qualitative methods. Assess margins, product performance/client engagement to gain a complete picture of effective pricing strategies
    • Develop and maintain pricing tools that can be used to quickly respond to changing client needs and market trends
    • Assist with revenue forecasting process by working closely with EPS FP&A team and provide insight into sales pipeline
    • Assist with client contract review process and provide finance related feedback. Collaborate with teams across the business on how best to meet clients’ needs while protecting the business’ interests
    • Enhance/automate finance processes and challenge existing assumptions/methodologies
  • Qualifications

    WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND LOOKS LIKE

    • BS or BA in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum 7 years of progressive analytical and leadership experience
    • Experience within commercial pricing a plus
    • Desire to develop others through training, coaching and leading by example
    • Comfortable discussing ideas with all levels of leadership and contributors throughout the organization
    • A passion for driving change throughout the organization
    • Analytical and critical thinker with the ability to gain buy-in and build consensus with key stakeholders
    • Strong backbone – your ideas will be challenged by other bright minds!
    • Enjoys debating issues and seeing multiple sides to an argument
    • Competence in developing financial models for complex business scenarios
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to effectively balance detail orientation while maintaining accuracy and developing sound recommendations
