Job Title: Software Development Staff Engineer
Job Location: 16260 North 71st Street, Suite 400, Scottsdale, AZ 85254
Responsibilities include: Design and develop cloud-based software for B2B clients; Working with AWS Engineers to enable automation for the platform; Expose Restful APIs using micro-services; Creating unit tests and conduct code reviews; Implementing best practices for Restful end points; Integrating with various third party services using Restful API’s; Integrating with AWS services like Dynamo DB, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager and KMS; Utilizing security libraries to implement digital signatures and encryption; Applying knowledge of tree and graph algorithms, asynchronous processing, concurrency libraries; Creating docker images for the services implemented; Setup CI/CD for services; Working in a challenging, time constrained and extremely agile environment; Collaborating with information security and DevOps to implement Platform needs relating to high availability, security, integration, and data storage; and, Collaborating with QA to enable test automation.
Qualifications
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of work experience in offered position or 5 years of experience in a computer-related occupation.
Position also requires:
5 years of experience building Restful APIs in Java;
4 years of experience in development and deployment of services in Linux;
4 years of experience with AWS architecture and management
2 years of experience building Splunk dashboard and using queries, alerting.
1 year of experience with Dynatrace monitoring and setup.
1 year of experience using Docker build, CLI and docker compose.
4 years of experience with DynamoDB tables, queries, scans and Java SDK.
2 years of experience with Cryptography for transport and message level security.
4 years of experience with REST API design and best practices.
WAGE OFFERED: $136, 130.50 per year
