    Job Description

    As the Regional Service Manager (RSM) you will be responsible for the development of the local region to ensure achievement of the service organizations strategic priorities.   You will have a central role in implementing all business strategies related to the organizations long range and annual business plans.  You will be involved in aspects of future growth initiatives, including new service product development, implementation of programs to successfully introduce new products and defining future product opportunities based on customer feedback and industry growth opportunities. 

    • Act as a partner to Instron Leadership and Field Safety teams to promote a safety culture that places the employee’s safety first.
    • Develop and maintain key relationships with our customers and regional sales teams through direct onsite meetings, telephone and email communications.  
    • Implement service initiatives and provide feedback on key competitors and market trends.  Communicate new market potential for existing products and propose new product opportunities.
    • Deliver on key service metrics; Customer Satisfaction, On-time Installations, SLA Response and P&L.
    • Hire, Develop, motivate and promote growth opportunities within your regional service personnel.
    • Promote quality awareness and involve all service personnel in the continual improvement initiatives by communicating their role as it relates to quality.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or Business Management with an emphasis on Engineering Technology or equivalent job experience. 
    • Preferred minimum of 5 years managerial experience in a technical field with a preference for previous Field/Customer Service experience.   
    • Ability to travel over-night within assigned region up to 60%.
    • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, Project, OneNote.
    • Ability to multi-task, analyze situations quickly and effectively collaborate with internal and external customers
