    Job Description

    Experian is leading an enterprise global transformation program. The programs vision is to gain competitive advantage through technology (Cloud, hybrid-cloud, micro-services) and large-scale adoption of Agile best practices across the company.

    Programs objectives include:

    • Accelerate our pace of innovation and improve the speed at which we can introduce new products and new capabilities into and across markets
    • Create ‘global first’ product build mindset, with cooperation across BUs for scaling global opportunities and maximizing product re-use
    • Delight customers with cutting edge products exceeding expectation of quality, service, reliability and scalability
    • Reduce cost of operations to enable higher reinvestment in innovation
    • Make our product teams more productive and versatile

     

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    • Drive the start-up, staffing and deployment of Experian’s global Ways of Working Centre of Excellence (COE)
    • Lead the strategic direction to adopt Agile best practices across Experian – first within Product Development (nearly 500 teams), then to the rest of the organization totaling 18000 employees
    • Significantly lift overall maturity level to demonstrate sustainable performance gains to product quality, unit cost, and pace of delivery; deliver run-rate savings of $40 million over the next five years ($169 million cumulatively)
    • As a trusted and credible expert:
      • Share Agile LeSS best practices and easily understood standards
      • Facilitate tooling standards adoption
      • Own continuous improvement plan; maturity capability roadmap pacing
      • Drive collaboration, re-use, and change management; peer reviews
      • Produce enterprise wide KPIs and progress tracking
    • Partner with the regional Agile COEs and business leaders as needed
      • Training and certification
      • Coaching
      • Accelerators
    • Board and Operating Committee reporting as required
    • Serve as a key member of the Results Delivery Office
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND LOOKS LIKE

    CREDENTIALS

    • Product Owner certification
    • Scrum master certification
    • Undergraduate degree; ideally an advance degree

     

    EXPERIENCE

    • Substantial experience in an Agile leadership role within a global organization; strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, with experience in Agile methodologies skills
    • Proficiency in Agile scaling frameworks LeSS (essential), SaFE, Spotify and Scrum methodologies
    • You have been an Agile Coach in a mature agile environment or similar for a number of years
    • Experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager with software products

     

    SKILLS

    • Strong stakeholder management skills; including making technical information simple, accessible and insightful for technology and non-technology decision makers
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with people – an expert influencer, especially within a matrixed environment.
    • Problem analysis and problem resolution at a strategic level; proven track record of consulting with C-suite
    • Background in FinTech / Financial Services / Cloud Business Services preferred, but not required
    • High level of professionalism and emotional intelligence
    • Finger on the pulse, dedicated and flexible to business needs
    • Relentless positivity and enthusiasm that helps teams ‘catch the spark’ of transformation and imagine new possibilities
    • A mindset that thrives in ambiguity, can navigate the concrete and the abstract, and always constructively challenges the status quo

    • Track record of working in a fast paced, results driven roles within complex organizations.
