    Job Description

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    • Designing automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on application concerns, including cloud-native distributed application architectures, migrating workloads to containers, containerized development workflows, security, and integrating container platforms with automated CI and CD pipelines
    • Automate and maintain application deployment via CI/CD Pipelines using industry best practices and open-source software.
    • Implementing relevant security monitoring, compliance, and enforcement points into the CI/CD pipelines
    • Building automated testing systems in collaboration with technology and product teams to develop and execute UAT / Integration / Penetration / Performance / Regression / Load tests
    • Monitor system performance
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Experience with designing, building, management, and operation of the continuous delivery framework and tools
    • Experience with designing, building, management, and operation of the infrastructure as a service layer (cloud-based platforms) that supports the different platform services
    • Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment processes and tools such as IDEs (Eclipse, Visual Studio), Source Code management. (GIT/Bitbucket), Maven, etc.
    • Experience with building continuous delivery pipelines to manage and automate the lifecycle of the different platform components
    • Ability to identify opportunities for automation within software processes
    • Understanding of cloud delivery models: PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS.
    • Strong background in test automation development and Web Service automation testing

    PREFERRED:

    • Demonstrated experience of 8-10 years with managing CI/CD pipelines and test automation
    • Experience with cloud security tools and concerns
    • Experience in cloud/virtual technologies and management – OpenStack, AWS, Azure, Cloudera, VMware, etc.
    • Experience with networking and storage solutions.
    • Knowledge, skills, and abilities to automate the creation of Platform as a Services (PaaS) infrastructure using industry-standard tools
    • Strong knowledge and hands-on test experience of RESTful APIs
    • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo
    • Working knowledge of bug tracking in JIRA and test case creation
    • Innovative thinker with a passion for QA and process improvement
    • Proven track record in QA automation
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills, adaptable and able to learn quickly
    • Requires limited supervision and have excellent time management skills
    • Proven experience collaborating with remote teams
    • Great team player in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience with working in an Agile Environment
    • Experience with Jenkins and Robot Automation Framework
    • Experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA, and Confluence
