    Job Description

    We are currently seeking an experienced Client Engagement Manager to spearhead go to market efforts in key verticals to grow our verification solutions market penetration.  The candidate will be responsible for helping execute go-to-market strategy in direct and indirect sales channels and multiple verticals, conducting market and competitive analysis, and engaging in consulting efforts working with the sales teams and collaborating with product teams to communicate client needs.  The position also requires strong project management capabilities to support pipeline management.  We seek a candidate eager to join a start-up atmosphere – supporting solutions at the tipping point of market adoption.  Limited travel is required after it is safe to do so.

    • Help develop and directly manage go to market strategies and programs across direct and indirect sales channels and multiple verticals (mortgage, auto, personal loans, credit card, fintech lending, etc.)
    • Provide subject matter expertise to early sales stage opportunity development.  Client qualification, including collaboration with sales team about opportunities and delivering client presentations
    • Interact heavily with sales teams and clients from opportunity identification to deal signature
    • Help establish client expectations and manage client questions throughout opportunity development
    • Collaborate with implementation teams to successfully manage hand-offs as contract are signed
    • Apply market intelligence and voice of the client (VOC) to establish highest revenue opportunities; work with clients, Product and Technology teams to accelerate time to revenue and drive product penetration
    • Manage, track and report on pipeline
    • Provide pricing and contract support as needed when deeper subject matter expertise is required.
    • Assist with RFP responses
    • Collaborate with the Product and Strategic Pricing teams on market feedback to inform pricing strategies and client bundles 
    • Work cross-functionally with various Experian business units and product management teams to ensure products are positioned in alignment with other Experian capabilities and platforms
    • Partner closely with internal development, decision sciences and data lab teams to drive client adoption and market penetration

    WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND LOOKS LIKE

    • 5+ years of experience in technology business development/sales and product management
    • Proven ability to drive sales processes through influence and collaboration
    • Strong knowledge of Financial Services/FinTech industry (Marketing, Lending, Personal Financial Management tools and Underwriting/credit risk preferred) as well as product or market strategy development - from analysis to recommendation
    • Strong executive-level client-facing presentation skills required
    • High sense of urgency and ability to work well in and navigate a matrix environment crucial to success
    • Must have strong influencing skills and be able to interface with technology, business, analytics, systems, product and marketing personnel
    • Must demonstrate competency in developing strategies / tactics for product growth through product enhancement recommendations, implementation of sales strategies and channel development
    • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
    • Resourceful creative thinker with strong analytical skills
    • A BACHELOR’S DEGREE REQUIRED
