  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Payer Rules Developer is responsible for software development and support of standard claim rules and payer-specific claim processing rules, analysis, and maintenance within the Experian Health product portfolio.

    • Ensure payer-specific rules development and processes meet corporate policies for security, consistency, and professional software development standards
    • Maintain high standards of software quality, within the team, by establishing good practices and habits
    • Identify and encourage process improvement within the team
    • Ability to use de-bug techniques and tools, to identify and correct coding errors
    • Work with claims implementation and support development and other teams to ensure rules development aligns with implementation and client-specific support components
    • Ensure new payer-specific rules are delivered in a timely manner, to meet ongoing implementation and support commitments
    • Effectively communicate with internal and external project teams
    • Perform and maintenance routine program and system maintenance
    • Other duties as required
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
    • 3+ years of programming and analysis experience, in a computing environment
      • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
    • Experience in C#, .NET, Visual Studio required
    • Experience in SQL preferred
    • Experience in healthcare industry highly preferred
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Must be adept, in working in an agile team environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
