  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Support current Claim Source customers
    • Review internal process, recommend and develop changes to improve systems efficiency, automation, and/or effectiveness
    • Document and communicate complex solutions to internal and external clients in a timely manner
    • Assess project complexity and estimate development and implementation timeframe
    • Provide input to improve product documentation and training
    • Assign and monitor detailed project tasks and communicate summary level information to management and involved parties as required
    • Communicate status with team members, end users and clients within client expectations including participating in regular client calls
    • Develop strong working relationships with clients and service/sales team
    • Perform claims conversions from legacy to Claim Source as needed either as lead or as a secondary analyst
    • Monitor accuracy and completeness of all assigned jobs
    • Provide technical support including testing, debugging, troubleshooting and implementing necessary program changes, updates, or additions
    • Analyze customer data including performing optimizations and edit reviews with customers
    • Review and evaluate payer notifications
    • Collaborate with internal and external groups to define process requirements for project
    • May interpret orders and selects appropriate tools to process orders accurately and efficiently
    • May supervise project resources on assigned projects
    • May perform software packaging duties, be involved in pre-sales processes, and perform complex database tasks and maintenance as required
    • Responsible for tracking change requests and high severity incidents
    • Identify problems/solutions and lead research on complex issues. Serve as a resource to resolve technical problems. Provide training and support
    • Contribute to continuous improvements by identifying ways to optimize resources
    • May maintain and publish comprehensive project plans and schedules
    • Outline processing plans to support the implementation of new programs or processes
    • Assist with team leadership roles and mentor new team members
    • Applies advance skills in area of specialization to solve complex problem in creative and effective ways.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • _ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience_
    • _ ** _ 4 years’ experience hospital and physician billing exp_ erience**_
    • _ Advanced knowledge of healthcare ICD10 diagnosis and procedure codes, CPT-4 codes required_
    • _ Strong experience with and thorough understanding of healthcare 837 format and healthcare UB04/1500 required_
    • _ Solid expertise with ADA paper forms_
    • _ Advanced analytical skills_
    • Excellent technical skills within Microsoft Office suite
    • Good leadership, organizational and written/verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work well independently
    • Detailed project management skills
    • Ability to work closely with diverse group of internal/external organizational members
