Job Description

We are a team of 14 reporting to the VP of Strategic Pricing for Experian North America. The team supports overall revenue and EBIT targets for the North America business and support over $2.5BN in annual revenue.  The team is made up of Pricing Managers, Pricing tool specialists and Analytical experts that are aligned to support the commercial goals of Experian across the many business units in North America. 

• This role will directly support Experian Partner Solutions (EPS), the part of Experian responsible for providing products such as Credit Education, Identity and Data Breach services to a client’s customers
• Collaborate with internal partners within Sales, Contracts, and Finance to create or approve deal-level pricing.
• Participate in internal pricing negotiations, deal structure, profitability models and sales efforts
• Creatively position pricing that maximizes revenues, protects AUPs, ensures future spend and builds market share.
• Manage and approve a queue of pricing requests
• Work to develop pricing tools, such as benchmarking and historical analysis to assist the team in deal-level pricing
• Collaborate with Product Marketing for new product development, product pricing and product launch.  
• Be a trusted commercial partner to the Sales, Product and Finance teams including research and ad-hoc analysis beyond just pricing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Prior Pricing, Sales, Sales Operations, Finance or Product Marketing experience preferred.
• Strong entrepreneurial acumen, with the ability to make business decisions independently
• The ability to have difficult conversations with internal partners, and to defend your position with commercial rationales
• Be comfortable with data, both in terms of interpretation, as well as presentation in support of pricing decisions
• Good excel skills required, with experience in data manipulation and tool building preferred
• Track record of commercial decision making
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
