    Job Description

    Experian Consumer Services is seeking a talented Product Designer. This role will report to one of our Product Design Managers and will create innovative and best-in-class product experiences for our portfolio of responsive/adaptive websites. The ideal candidate should be able to formulate a product design perspective and draw inspiration from latest industry trends and design thinking best practices. The ideal candidate is passionate about inventing best-in-class products and is a tireless advocate for the end user, with deep empathy for their everyday struggles and challenges, and unwavering in providing the best possible experiences for our customers.

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    • Work closely with the development team to deliver on-time, on budget, high value projects.
    • Design useful, usable and delightful experiences across Experian’s responsive/adaptive websites and native mobile apps (iOS and Android)
    • Leverage established vision, strategy, to design a user experience that ensures a consistent, compelling and evolving customer experience
    • Promote overall awareness and competence in design research and design thinking, by articulating vision to other teams across the organization who also contribute to the user experience of our products
    • Deliver quality UX flows and patterns, UI design, interactive and data visualization design, UX research, usability testing, and visual design
    • Create design specifications and design standards in the form of user journeys, storyboards, interaction models, process flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes and UI/functional design specs to ensure each digital experience logically flows from one step to the next
    • Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Creative, Marketing, Content, Social, Technology, and Business stakeholders on product requirements
    • Create solutions designed to scale and grow over time, as product functionality and content matures and as user requirements evolve
    • Conduct usability testing through prototyping and research efforts to ensure that all projects are driven by user needs and business outcomes
    • Understand qualitative and quantitative research data, business goals and requirements, and translate them into functional designs

    WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND LOOKS LIKE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Design, Interaction Design/UX or similar field from an accredited four-year university required.
    • 3-5+ years of relevant work experience in research, UX, and product design
    • Mastery of UX Design principles and deliverables, including rapid prototyping, site maps, information architecture, user personas, wireframes, and flows
    • Highly skilled in designing cohesive digital experiences across a number of different customer touch/interaction points via connected devices (e.g., laptops, smartphones, phablets, tablets, watches, TVs) and platforms (e.g., web, iOS, Android)
    • Deep expertise across all facets of human-centered design and user experience, spanning UX strategy, experience/interaction design, user research/assessment, prototyping, visual design, and user adoption
    • Portfolio of work showing product design for responsive/adaptive websites
