Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
- Requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant product management and Financial Service Industry experience is a plus.
- General knowledge of analytics, including an understanding of the financial industry and consumer/commercial credit data. Topics include but are not limited to education/ technical training on scoring model development and usage as well as business intelligence knowledge around all cycles of consumer credit: prospecting; acquisition; portfolio management; and collections.
- Previous hands-on experience working with data-driven solutions required.
- Previous modeling product management experience required – general knowledge of: machine learning methodologies, analytic analysis, model validation, platform deployment, performance monitoring/ tracking/ reporting
- Proven track record in utilizing analytical tools & metrics for both managing product portfolios and creating product road maps
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Familiar, based on previous hands-on experience, with major technological elements of our industry such as analytic techniques, workflows, processing platforms, data warehouses and software development techniques.
- Highly driven, dynamic self-starter - bring a high level of passion to achieving greater client satisfaction in everything you do.
- Strong technically with a passion for design and usability
- Team player, detail oriented
- Fundamental understanding of core Agile principles including writing user stories, managing a backlog while articulating your product vision to the scrum team
- Outstanding presentation, communication and information sharing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent PC skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends and help the development team to implement new processes
FORMAL TRAINING/EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA preferred but not required
- Position is virtual with quarterly visits to our campus in Costa Mesa, CA
