    Job Description

    We are looking for a motivated ServiceNow Architect and team player to join our team. You will have the opportunity to exercise technical leadership of a team of passionate IT professionals and propel Experian IT Services forward in the ServiceNow space to ensure cutting edge solutions and best practices. This position is responsible for design architecture/blueprints for the ServiceNow Platform and assist with defining and execute ServiceNow roadmap and strategy. The architect will work with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and teams of architects, and 3rd party vendors to define and develop solutions that supports business strategy.

     

    The ServiceNow Architect scope includes the daily operation and support of the Experian ServiceNow platform, including processes IT Service Management (ITSM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Application Portfolio Management (APM), Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) and others. This includes solution architecture design, process architecture, platform upgrades and development of enhancements/customization, and platform ownership.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Formulate and define specifications and modifications for the ServiceNow platform in terms of business needs and applying that to Enterprise organizational objectives and provide technical leadership for planning, designing, upgrading, installing, testing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive technical blueprint of the ServiceNow services, creating solution options that align IT services with business missions, goals, and objectives with consideration of both technical and non-technical implications and trade-offs.
    • Provide coding standards and review of content provided by extended development team to ensure compliance with Experian Service Management (ESM) standards
    • Analyze current business practices with emerging technology and recommend relevant process enhancements and products that anticipate or complement corporate direction
    • Evaluate ServiceNow platform performance, isolate and debug software problems, and make recommendations for problem resolution
    • Provide subject matter knowledge to the ServiceNow application, and ability to implement modules and other third-party integrations and applications used within the environment to ServiceNow
    • Transform business needs from the customer to tangible items within ServiceNow, from using modules available to the platform or creating new modules and direct and help complete detailed documentation for workflows and services implemented within ServiceNow
    • Assist with developing and execute a year over year ServiceNow strategy which aligns with business objectives and goals, by guiding and directing a multi-cultural global team (onshore and offshore) of ServiceNow analysts, architects and developers through the prioritization, design, development, and implementation of enterprise wide ServiceNow solutions which enable process optimization and automation
    • Develops internal processes that interface with the processes of other technical teams and further support excellence
    • Lead and direct new modules purchase, license requirements, and all components related to ServiceNow agreement renewals
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • MBA preferred, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field required.

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow architecture, solution design and solution implementation.

    • Firm understanding of ServiceNow applications and modules. ServiceNow certifications like Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD) are a plus

    • Previous experience in customizing Integrations, Workflows, Business Rules, and UI Scripts using JavaScript to create custom applications and configurations on the ServiceNow platform

    • Familiar with the ITIL Framework and demand processes across the IT organization

    • Proficient in all phases of the Agile Application Development Lifecycle

    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadline

    • Strong technical project management and/or leadership skills

    • Excellent planning skills in both tactical and strategic planning

    • Effective leadership and negotiation skills required

    • Experience in process improvement and facilitation

    • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
