Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative Flight Suits dba Gibson & Barnes - El Cajon, CA 92020 $11 an hour - Full-time, Commission Flight Suits dba Gibson & Barnes manufactures flight and safety apparel and communication devices serving EMS, law enforcement, military, and other aviation industries. Seeking F/T (M-F 8-5pm) Customer Service Rep (helmets) with phone/email order processing and/or customer service experience. Must achieve monthly sales quota and reports, up-sell, complete detailed paperwork, receive moderate call volume, and have willingness to learn product line and inventory control system. Responsibilities include: * Receive and process phone, email, fax, and purchase orders * Fulfill customer needs with thorough customer service in timely manner * Send catalogs, letters, sales quotes, and samples as requested * Provide up-sell suggestions * Process returns * Provide ongoing order status to customers * Assist walk-in customers, as needed (including measuring men and women) * Make outbound calls to maintain existing customer relationships Requirements: * HS diploma or equiv w/1-year phone/email sales and excellent customer service experience preferred * Excellent verbal and detailed written communication skills with customers and coworkers * Working knowledge MS Office * Strong accountability, problem solving, and self-initiation; proactive follow-through w/customers contact calls & emails * Ability to work independently and cooperatively as team member * Ability to handle multiple, concurrent assignments, effectively managing deadlines and priorities accurately with detail * Must be confident and persistent * Good attendance and punctuality a must Compensation: * Hourly $11.00, plus commission and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid vacation/sick/holidays) Employment offers contingent on successful completion of drug screen + background.
