As a Recruiting Specialist, you will support management in all aspects of effective recruitment, the onboarding process, conducting a clear and informative orientation class, and maintaining compliance with the Affirmative Action program. Role Responsibility: Specific Duties and Essential Functions * Perform Applicant Tracking System/ Career Center operation (e.g., building job requisitions, monitoring applicant flow and post using an external posting site if necessary; recruiting and scheduling of interviews; completing the ATS onboarding process to include background; drug screen/ physical (if needed); communicate training class roster with operations and training once the applicant has cleared the preliminary background; maintaining a clean ATS database for effective management). This duty includes transfers to the ATL office. Administer the Affirmative Action Program compliance and planning (recruiting, selection, and placement processes). Identify problem areas and make recommendations for corrective actions as needed. Follow proper company policy and procedures ensuring all AAP requirements are being properly managed, posted, and documented. Conduct New Hire Orientation class (complete new hire paperwork, discuss company policies per the Consolidated Acknowledgement Form (FM-015), discuss company benefits and direct deposit information, answer any other questions that may be asked during the class). Will assist with creating and maintain personnel files when/ as needed. The Ideal Candidate: Education, Licenses and Certifications Required * Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent * Must be able to meet the requirements of a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle Type and Length of Specific Experience Required * Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources or related field * Verifiable work history showing reliability Skills Required * Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office * Effective oral and written communication skills * Active listening skills * Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively * Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately * Attention to detail Other * Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher * Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States * Must not use illegal drugs.
