As a Payroll and Scheduling Specialist, you be is responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll related data, maintaining and coordinating with Supervisors to update and ensure accuracy of schedules in the G4S Labor Scheduling system, interfacing with employees regarding all payroll matters, processing vacation requests and assisting with other duties as required. Role Responsibility: Specific Duties and Essential Functions * Oversight and mentoring of all Supervisors and Security Personnel * Evaluation of contract performance and compliance (Service Level Agreements) * Development and updating of site post orders * Training of current and new employees to contract standards. Inspection of security personnel, measuring competency, appearance and morale * Identify performance shortcomings of Site Supervisors and Security Personnel then develop and implement process or program solutions to address shortcomings * Develop and implement goals / objectives for direct reports. Conduct employee evaluations, counseling and discipline * Maintain open, timely and accurate communication between client, Regional Account Manager, and local G4S Office * Daily review of staffing levels ensuring compliance with manpower requirements of the assigned sites and maintain staffing report for all locations * Ensure the proper and timely handling of all incidents regarding all aspects of security for the facility * Coordinate projects and activities with the Regional Account Manager to ensure delivery of high quality customer service for assigned account * Attend scheduled meetings with Regional Account Manager and local client reps for status updates and help address actual or potential problems * Assist line management in negotiation of client contract, provide support during startup of any additional services The Ideal Candidate: Education, Licenses and Certifications Required * Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Type and Length of Specific Experience Required * Minimum of one year of experience in payroll, accounting, or other related field * Work history must include demonstration of working knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and other employment related laws Skills Required * Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office * Effective oral and written communication skills * Active listening skills * Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively * Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
