Reporting to the Salesforce Manager, the Salesforce Administrator will be a core part of the Salesforce Platform Development team. This position is a key functional staffer that builds configured solutions, performs process work in conjunction with automated systems and third-party applications. This position is responsible for the day-to-day aspects of maintaining environments, documentation, and complex integration components.
As a Salesforce Administrator, thorough knowledge of the Salesforce platform, its best practices, architecture and system integrations with other platforms are required. This person is a hands-on worker who will drive the creation of logical models and documentation, and to work with others to design and implement process and tools
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide day to day end user support
- Assist with training end users on the use of Salesforce
- Improve and increase knowledge of Salesforce
- Create and manage users, profiles, roles and permission sets, sharing rules, workflows and groups in Salesforce
- Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
- Assist in data import/export/updates for managers and sales teams
- Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and escalate as needed
- Create training and user documentation, and maintain ongoing documentation processes as business needs evolve or features are added
- Maintain data and system security and integrity in Salesforce
- Perform regular system audits and prepare for major Salesforce and thirds party releases
- Participate in Data Management activities including data quality, data accuracy, and data purging
- Troubleshoot production issues and escalate issues as needed
- Manage and maintain third party app logic
- Proactively seek out and identify areas for improvement
- Participate in release management and change management processes
- Other duties as assigned by Salesforce Manager or Lead Administrator

Required Experience
- 1+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator and/or another sales CRM system
- Salesforce Administrator Certification AND Platform App Builder OR Advanced Administrator Certifications
- Experience with APEX, APEX TRIGGERS, VISUALFORCE, HTML, JAVA, SQL, SOQL a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience in business or technology
- Proficient skills in Excel, Outlook, Word and Powerpoint
- Experience with Lightning and Communities
- Experience with managing App Exchange tools
- Strong time management, planning, prioritization and technical skills
- Excellent communication skills
