    Globe Life's internship program offers a diverse opportunity to work in a specific department gaining hands-on experience as well as working on much larger team projects throughout the organization with exposure to senior management and mentors. This rigorous program ensures the opportunity for students to enhance new skills, obtain real-world experience, gain specific field-related exposure, and make important connections for the future.

    Job Description and Responsibilities:

    • Ability and willingness to perform clerical functions as needed
    • Object Oriented Programming
    • Implementing/collaborating programming best practices
    • Willingness to learn different areas within the organization
    • Work on different projects within the department as well as team projects
    • Back up other team members during vacations and/or leaves of absence

    Required Skills

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly assess problems and find workable solutions.
    • Positive attitude and inquisitive nature
    • Strong communication skills and be comfortable working with executives at all levels due to planning responsibilities.
    • Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift

    Activities:

    • Special assigned projects by department leaders
    • Assigned Group Projects
    • Lunch with CEO's
    • Intern Mixer (Dallas Regional Chamber)
    • Texas Rangers (Globe Life Suite)

    Required Experience

    Must have obtained at least junior status in a Bachelor degree program (Finance, Accounting, or Economics)

    • Minimum 3.0 GPA (Official Transcript May be Requested)
    • Have the ability to work 40 hours per week June 3, 2024 - July 26, 2024.
    • U.S. citizen or legal resident.
