  • Responsibilities

    CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator to support an information technology project for the U.S. Army. The ideal candidate will have experience in System and Database Administration, and appropriate Computing Environment (CE) certification.

     

    Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

     

    • Provide security authentication for database servers.
    • Provide database administration for all USARCENT SQL requirements.
    • Provide systems administration for NIPRNET and SIPRNET physical/virtual SQL Clusters.
    • Maintain and rehearse the Disaster Recovery Plan, Perform Backup and Restores SQL database.
    • Provide SharePoint administration for SharePoint SQL Server Database (NIPRNET, SIPRNET)
    • Perform security baseline and enforce (Risk Management Framework) RMF policies.
    • Ensure servers are up to date with latest Microsoft security updates.

    Required Skills

     

    • MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO OBTAIN A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE.
    • Knowledgeable on current software, hardware, operating systems.
    • Experience reviewing and evaluating potential security risks and take appropriate corrective and recovery action if a risk or data compromise is identified.

     

    PREFERRED:

     

    • 10 years’ experience and/or Master’s degree in a Computer Science or related field.
    • Able to maintain attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Think creatively and justify design concepts with data and insight.
    • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

    Required Experience

     

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, required.
    • Master's degree preferred.
    • At least 1 year experience as DQL Database Administrator.
    • Possess appropriate Computing Environment (CE) certification.
  • Qualifications
