JOB DESCRIPTION:

Globe Life Inc. is currently seeking a Forecast Analyst. This position will be responsible for creating, auditing, and implementing response forecasting reports for several direct mail marketing campaigns. These reports will then be utilized to best determine the most profitable segments in which to target.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organize marketing response to determine direct market mailings segments to target while accurately projecting response and return on investment.
• Generates innovative solutions by approaching problems with curiosity and open mindedness, using existing information to its fullest potential;
• Manages time effectively and works independently in establishing responsible deadlines with minimal supervision;
• Regularly communicates to the team regarding audit findings, improvements, implementations, and status updates;
• Routinely work on ad hoc reporting and tasks;
• Track and analyze projects to monitor results;
• Create response spreadsheets for special projects and regular mailings;
• Independently seek out and learn new functions within our toolsets that could benefit the position and other positions in marketing.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office-(Outlook, Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint);
• Advanced skillset in MS Excel–(ability to navigate, troubleshoot, build upon, and optimize large, complex spreadsheets);
• Core mathematical concepts w/basic statistical understanding;
• SQL knowledge;
• Tableau knowledge a plus;
• Ability to work independently and as a team member;
• Ability to manage large datasets – accounting for all data, sensitive to data integrity and anomalies, and maintaining multiple iterations in an organized manner;
• Strong organizational and time management skills with experience in meeting deadlines;
• Experience managing multiple priorities with ability to make changes when needed;
• Strong technical, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written;
• Professional, clear, and concise when presenting forecasts or findings to executive leadership in formal meetings.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor Degree in relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• 3-5 years in a job requiring similar skill sets (i.e. forecasting, data analysis, attention to detail, procedure analysis, and communications);
• Self-motivated, team player, problem identifier, problem solver.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sedentary work. Involves sitting most of the time. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures while viewing a computer monitor.
