JOB PURPOSE:
Works with senior developers, quality assurance team, and business analysts to learn about the organization's business environment, system issues and software development tools. Assists senior developers and the quality assurance team in developing, supporting, modifying and testing software programming applications. May interact directly with business clients for purposes of gathering and conveying information.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates with senior developers, quality assurance team, and business analysts to understand and implement development and testing requirements.
- Analyzes issues and use judgment to make decisions.
- Participates in daily scrum(s).
- Applies new technical approaches to best resolve customer problems.
- Understands how to work flexibly within organizational policies and procedures.
- Anticipates obstacles and thinks ahead about next steps.
- Actively seeks feedback in order to improve his/her performance.

- Thorough understanding of technical concepts required for specialized field. Uses that knowledge, creativity and company practices and priorities to obtain solutions to complex problems.
- Interfaces with senior management to provide and obtain information and to build consensus regarding project direction.
- Travel Requirements: Less than 10%.
Required Skills
SPECIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, and 4+ years’ experience in software development.
Capabilities:
- Developmental knowledge of coding, testing, supporting and debugging software
- Ability to work in a team environment and assist other team members in conveying information to business clients
Microsoft Software Technologies – Development Experience:
- Visual Studio 2015, 2017, .NET 4.5, 4.6, 4.7, .Net Core, .Net Standard, C#, ASP.NET, WCF, OData
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- SQL Server 2012+
Application Integration Design Experience:
- Web Services, Web API, and Enterprise Services
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

- Background in Modular/Reusable coding patterns
