McKean is seeking to hire a Logistics Support Specialist with experience in Army Watercraft ILS development. Responsibilities include:
- Work as a member of a Logistics Team in the Development of Army Watercraft Integrated Product Support (IPS) documents.
- Develop Excel part data spreadsheets for Hull Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) Equipment installed on Army Watercraft.
- Import Excel spreadsheets into Government programs (Power Log J 2 (PLJ2) and Compass).
- Research part data using LogiQuests.
- Contact Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and other sources of supply for part data.
- Review and edit part illustrations.
- Produce reports and Excel spreadsheets from PLJ2.
- Maintain work folders on a server.
- Assist team members as required.
- Attend team meetings.
- Travel up to 25%
Required Skills
- Capability to research commercial supply and engineering data from manufacturers and development of data for provisioning.
- Familiarity with Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC), Bill of Material (BOM), Repair Parts information, and watercraft technical manual and engineering data.
- Familiarity with Work Package development and Technical Manual layouts/ Arbortext experience desired.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working independently /multitasking
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance
Required Experience
- Knowledgeable and proficient in U.S. Army Maintenance and Supply management procedures.
- Experience in development and edit of Logistics Product Data in PowerLogJ2.
- Proficient in MS Office suite
