Primary responsibility is to accurately process and recommend improvements for various critical internal processes and transactions in the effective administration of the company’s defined benefit, defined contribution, and other retirement plans.
Accurately process weekly pension and other periodic payments
Distribute and track retirees benefits paperwork to ensure timely return and follow-up as needed with retirees
Provide support to Plan Administration with internal and external compliance audits
Review and approve defined contribution requests from third party provider and reconcile payroll contributions
Assist in maintaining employee databases and data integrity with third-party systems
Test compliance, determine eligibility and contribution levels, complete and submit government forms, and prepare and distribute summary annual reports, etc.
Support regular inquiries, investigation, and correspondence with retiree’s, active, and terminated participants in all retirement plans
Determine employee retirement benefits by completing necessary calculations
Ensures retirement plans are administered in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
Maintains knowledge of legal and regulatory changes, trends, and other developments affecting retirement benefits.
Preparation and review of annual and semi-annual defined contribution discretionary contributions
Annual ADP/ACP (non-discrimination testing)
Assist with the distribution of notices and other time sensitive retirement materials
Preparation and auditing of valuation data for Pension Plans
Performs other duties as assigned

Proficiency with MS Office Suite and other related software and system interfaces.
Strong knowledge of ERISA and IRS regulations a plus.
SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
