    The primary function of this position is to lead the development, testing, implementation and maintenance of various projects related to accounting, financial reporting and HR.  The emphasis for this development cycle is on using Infor Process Automation (IPA) and other Infor Lawson specific tools to provide solutions to improve timeliness and accuracy while reducing the manual tasks needed on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This position also requires excellent SQL skills in order to create queries using multiple tables.

    Other functions of this position are to support the accurate and timely importing, transforming and exporting of our Infor Lawson Financial interface files for General Ledger, Cash Management and Accounts Payable. This position manages requested changes to these interface files.  Depending on the nature of the changes, this position may need to serve as the project lead to ensure all impacted groups are involved and work together to implement the changes in a coordinated manner.

    This position supports the maintenance of the Company’s financial reporting tool which uses Microsoft SSAS Tabular models and Power BI to provide internal monthly reporting.  New reports are continuously being added to the financial reporting tool which will also need to be supported.

    • Maintain and/or improve existing Infor Process Automation flows
    • Create new flows using Infor Process Automation and SSIS packages
    • Work closely with Infor Lawson System Administrators during development and production maintenance of process flows
    • Solve technical issues that arise from daily interface processing
    • Support changes and additions to the financial reporting tool
    • Provide recommendations and solutions for business process improvements

    Required Skills

    • Good communication skills are required when working with the various user departments and IT
    • Extensive experience using Infor Process Automation preferred
    • Experience with other automation tools required if no experience with Infor Process Automation
    • Experience using SQL to query, insert, update and delete records from a database. Also an understanding of tables joins.
    • Experience with Infor Lawson Application Studio and Infor Business Intelligence preferred
    • Ability to manage projects concurrently
    • Project management experience is a plus
    • HTML and Javascript experience is a plus
    • Develop and document testing plans
    • Microsoft Office suite

    Required Experience

    • Degree in information systems, accounting or business is preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years of ERP experience preferred
    • Insurance industry experience preferred
