Job description:
- Develop and manage a national pipeline of public sector opportunities, driving the full sales cycle from prospecting and relationship development through contract award.
- Lead the end-to-end RFP process, including identifying bid opportunities, coordinating proposal development, and submitting compliant, competitive responses.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with government decision-makers, including public works, transportation, parks, sustainability, engineering, and procurement leaders.
- Identify funding opportunities and position solutions to meet agency infrastructure needs while pursuing sole-source and preferred vendor opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting while representing the organization at government industry conferences, procurement events, and trade associations.

- Relationships within municipal public works, transportation, or utilities
Requirements:
- Must have (5)+ years selling B2G (business to government) in infrastructure or construction-adjacent products
- Must be proficient with CRM tools
- Must be familiar with public procurement: IFBs, RFPs, sole-source justification, cooperative purchasing vehicles, government contracting sales
- Must have strong technical aptitude and product specifications articulating ROI (energy savings, maintenance, lifecycle cost) to engineers
- Travel required 40% – Events nationwide, visiting sites, etc.
