    Job description:

    1. Develop and manage a national pipeline of public sector opportunities, driving the full sales cycle from prospecting and relationship development through contract award.
    2. Lead the end-to-end RFP process, including identifying bid opportunities, coordinating proposal development, and submitting compliant, competitive responses.
    3. Build and maintain strategic relationships with government decision-makers, including public works, transportation, parks, sustainability, engineering, and procurement leaders.
    4. Identify funding opportunities and position solutions to meet agency infrastructure needs while pursuing sole-source and preferred vendor opportunities.
    5. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting while representing the organization at government industry conferences, procurement events, and trade associations.

     

    Nice to have:

    • Relationships within municipal public works, transportation, or utilities

     

    Requirements:

    • Must have (5)+ years selling B2G (business to government) in infrastructure or construction-adjacent products
    • Must be proficient with CRM tools
    • Must be familiar with public procurement: IFBs, RFPs, sole-source justification, cooperative purchasing vehicles, government contracting sales
    • Must have strong technical aptitude and product specifications articulating ROI (energy savings, maintenance, lifecycle cost) to engineers
    • Travel required 40% – Events nationwide, visiting sites, etc.
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Background check required
