    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Drive the activities and performance of the Service Sales Representatives (SSR) team in each assigned territory. Set individual and team sales targets, track results, and provide ongoing training, development, and coaching to the Associates under your care.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • 5 or more years of HVAC sales, management, or process improvement experience with proven success
    • Experience in planning and implementing winning sales strategies
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Experience using Microsoft Office; CRM, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license and currently maintain a safe driving record as required by the company’s insurance provider

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned:

    • Hire, onboard, and continuously coach Service Sales Representatives to achieve company goals
    • Coauthor a formalized Associate Development Plan (ADP) for each member of the team, and conduct quarterly progress meetings to encourage continued growth and development
    • Support our customers and the SSR team if a team member is out on PTO or sick leave
    • Conduct annual performance evaluations for each SSR
    • Provide meaningful weekly Plan and Review (PAR) sessions for each SSR
    • Develop annual sales plan for assigned territories and set individual sales targets for each SSR
    • Meet planned sales goals
    • Ensure each SSR consistently generates revenue through timely follow-up on recommended repairs from technicians in the field
    • Provide guidance to each SSR to understand the customer’s organization and decision-making process and commit the customer to a decision-making timetable
    • Assist each SSR to perform site surveys of mechanical equipment and have a good understanding of Commercial HVAC mechanical systems, as needed
    • Ensure each SSR provides the client with solutions identified by field technicians, supervisors and/or project sales representatives
    • Educate and assist SSRs with understanding the urgency and priorities based on customer needs
    • Assist SSR with receiving parts quotes and preparing proposals for customers with urgency
    • Works closely with the Operations Department and communicates customer needs, repair requirements, etc.
    • Answers questions and handles objections in a proficient and responsible manner
    • Identifies customer needs and effectively addresses or consults with customers about their concerns
    • Prioritizes customer’s requirements and displays a high sense of urgency to meet demands throughout the organization
    • Accurately applies company pricing policy
    • Supervise SSR use of sales software, including the ERP system and CRM; become an expert in each and develop the same in each SSR
    • Track and report sales results weekly
    • Analyze data in CRM system to track performance of each SSR and the team as a whole, against established company KPIs
    • Seek continuous personal development through seminars, reading, and online content; use knowledge to improve and adapt the sales strategy and activities of SSRs to meet the changing demands of the marketplace
    • Build and maintain long-term business relationships that protect the maintenance base and lead to future new business

    • Able to drive a vehicle for frequent local travel
    • Able to drive for relatively long distances on occasion
    • Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
    • Able to lift 25 lbs from floor to waist
    • Able to carry 25 lbs at waist level for 25 feet
    • Able to climb stairs and ladders
    • Able to lift legs and step over obstacles up to 19 inches above the ground
    • Able to squat repetitively
    • Able to access rooftop units and work at heights and in some cases tight or enclosed spaces
    • Able to wear a respirator if conditions require; may have brief exposure to environments that are smoky, dusty or dirty
    • Able to crawl, stoop, crouch, or kneel for up to 5 minutes at a time

     

    Base Salary Range: $85,000 to $90,000; depending on proven experience/proficiency. Compensation package includes a base salary, monthly car allowance ($700), commissions, and annual bonus.

    The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
