    The Receiving Associate is primarily responsible for the accurate processing, receipt, and web listing of all products—large and small—on incoming purchase orders and blind bids. Responsibilities include inspecting items for quality, photographing and listing products for advertisement on Radwell.com in accordance with company standards, and supporting the Receiving Department with gaylord creation, consolidation, placement, and auditing.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Process and receive all incoming product
    • Assist Receiving staff with research as necessary
    • Assess pricing and descriptions when list or market price cannot be determined
    • Review assigned Bids or Purchase Orders and follow any Supervisor or Purchasing instructions
    • Determine correct conditions and quantities of merchandise; note changes and discrepancies
    • Receive items accurately into inventory, recording serial numbers, firmware, revision levels, and other required data
    • Photograph items clearly with accurate weight and multiple appropriate angles
    • Report completed Purchase Orders and Bids
    • Create gaylords for receivers
    • Consolidate gaylords efficiently
    • Place gaylords in the warehouse
    • Cycle count received inventory
    • Locate missing items from gaylords
    • Ensure empty bins are recycled and reset for reuse
    • Scan packing slips
    • Enter packing slip information into Docstar
    • Provide general support in other receiving areas as directed by management
    • Perform other duties, tasks, or work as assigned or modified

    Metrics
    • Weighted Point System
    • Required minimum of 85% of goal reached and/or 15 lots per hour
    • Items processed per designated timeframe
    • Audit pricing and listing approvals
    • Processing errors recorded in Management Reporting System
    • Missing items/errors may result in commission penalty

    Qualifications
    • Medium technical skill
    • Detail oriented
    • Computer literate

    Knowledge & Skills Required
    • Strong computer proficiency
    • Knowledge of industrial automation products
    • Ability to multi‑task
    • Ability to work at a fast pace
    • Attention to detail
    • Problem-solving abilities
    • Good communication skills

    Education & Experience
    • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Some college or technical schooling preferred

    Compensation
    The recruiting base pay scale for this full-time position is $20 per hour.
    Within the base pay scale, individual pay is determined by job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
