As a HPSJ Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for providing information on benefits, eligibility, claims and other items; collaborating with internal and external contacts to research and resolve questions and issues; creating and maintaining accurate documentation. Requirements include: Ability to handle a heavy call volume of 50-100 calls daily; basic knowledge of managed care, Medi-Cal and/or Medicare programs; basic knowledge of medical policy benefits and exclusions; ability to use tact and diplomacy; strong interpersonal skills; ability to type 45wpm/90% accuracy; strong oral and written communication skills; strong listening skills; basic skills in Word, Excel and Outlook. Education and experience: High School Diploma and/or equivalent; at least one years experience in a clerical, administrative or customer service role; experience handling heavy call volume (50 100 calls per day)
