    Human Resources Generalist

    Location:  Tampa, 33601 - Hybrid
    After training, this role will have the option to work (3) days remote weekly

    Pay: $80,000 yearly or $38.46 per hour

    Type:  Contract, open ended

    Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm est

    Summary:  This is a very hands on HR role. Workers comp, unemployment claims; 

    • Experience working in Light Industrial, manufacturing industry and 500-700+ employee organization

    Job description:

    1. Serve as a strategic HR business partner to assigned departments, providing expert guidance in facilitation, process improvement, performance management, and policy recommendations to drive operational excellence and organizational consistency.

    2. Lead and support employee relations efforts, including coaching managers on performance, discipline, investigations, and day-to-day HR matters while partnering closely with HRBPs to resolve complex workplace issues.

    3. Drive consistency in HR practices across the organization by implementing and coordinating change initiatives that enhance effectiveness, streamline operations, and strengthen overall business outcomes.

    4. Leverage advanced HRIS expertise, including ADP Workforce Now and advanced Excel skills, to analyze data, improve processes, support salary planning, and optimize performance management programs.

    5. Develop and deliver impactful management training programs (e.g., anti-harassment, interview skills, supervisory development) to foster continuous learning, strengthen leadership capability, and build a high-performance culture.

     

     

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Must have ADP WorkForce Now
    • Must have 5-6 years of relevant HR Generalist experience (will support two HR BP)
    • Knowledge of employment laws, compensation, HRIS systems, training, and employee relations, unemployment Claims, reporting, Surveys 
    • Experience working in Light Industrial, manufacturing industry and 500-700+ employee organization
    • Must be MS Excel proficient
    • Background check required
    • Drug screening required
