Job description:
- Review and advise on personal lines insurance policies, conducting annual policy reviews, interpreting coverage, recommending changes or replacement quotes, and resolving member issues while upholding the highest standards of business ethics and confidentiality.
- Quote, bind, and service new and renewal insurance policies, assisting members with applications, endorsements, billing inquiries, and claims coordination while ensuring accuracy and compliance with agency and underwriting guidelines.
- Identify member insurance needs and drive growth, meeting or exceeding individual sales goals by recommending appropriate coverage, additional product lines, and cross-sell opportunities to conserve and expand the book of business.
- Manage policy and member documentation within the Agency Management System, maintaining accurate records, updating notes for all member interactions, processing company downloads, and managing imaging, filing, and database accuracy.
- Collaborate with carriers and maintain professional expertise, corresponding with insurance companies and lenders, maintaining agency and carrier manuals, attending training to enhance insurance knowledge, and minimizing errors and omissions through adherence to agency policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Must have Florida 20-44 Property & Casualty Personal Lines Agent license
- Background check required
- Drug screening required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
