Invenergy employees are inclusive and welcoming of all colleagues of all backgrounds, genders, races, sexual orientations, religions and abilities Position Overview As an Associate, Renewable Development, you will play a key role in the development of utility-scale wind, solar, and storage energy projects in New York State and throughout the Northeast region of the United States. This position is based in our Ithaca, NY regional office. Responsibilities * Identify development prospects, including market assessments, fatal flaw identification and initial site reconnaissance. * Support securing site control for development prospects, including negotiating leases, easements and other agreements with landowners. * Coordinate landowner communication efforts. * Support diligencing what local, state and/or federal permits may be required, and then obtaining the same. * Represent Invenergy with customers, landowners, state and local officials and other stakeholders. * Support strategy around, initiating, and managing generation interconnection activities. * Support project modeling, marketing, design, budgeting and scheduling. * Support managing a wide variety of competing tasks according to various budget and schedule constraints, including coordinating internal and external technical support. Required Skills * Bachelor's Degree * 3+ years experience in utility-scale wind, solar and/or storage project development * Strong prioritization, organizational, and time management skills * Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders Preferred Skills * Master's Degree in Business or Engineering, or similar advanced degree preferred * Intrinsically motivated with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment * Ability and confidence to identify questions which may affect material assumptions Posted YesterdayFull timeR00747 We foster an entrepreneurial culture driven by teamwork and collaboration.
