Job Title Production Technician Organizational Unit KAISER ALUMINUM -> Operations -> Jackson Location Tennalum - Jackson, TN 38302 US (Primary) Job Description A production technician will perform various jobs during the course of the day depending upon production and process requirements to extrude and process aluminum rod and bar to customer's specifications. On-the-job training is provided to operate the various types of equipment and machinery. Pay increases are earned through a pay-for-skill system. Top-out pay can be reached in a minimum of 16 months. A production technician works 12-hours shifts and rotates every 4 weeks between days and nights. We have a high performing team-based culture and an all-salaried workforce. Job Requirements Qualifications and Skills Selection process includes a math test, oral directions test and attitude survey. A post offer drug screen, physical and background check will be required. We prefer at least 6 months of manufacturing experience and a stable work history.
