ABOUT THE ROLE As a Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Human Resources function across the Asian offices and helping to drive the collective strategy across the region. Other key responsibilities include:

    • Acting as an HR business partner, providing advice and guidance to stakeholders on a range of complex HR matters including employee relations and performance management
    • Overseeing the implementation of HR operational projects, providing advice and guidance where necessary to ensure projects are delivered successfully and by required deadlines
    • As the senior HR professional in Asia, acting as primary resource for the offices regarding creative and effective use of staff resources, this includes researching and providing continuous improvement strategies for the office
    • Leading, developing and mentoring a team across multiple office locations
    • Analysing workforce metrics (e.g., retention, attrition, engagement etc.) and identifying how the relevant Asia office compares to firm, industry, and local market benchmarks
    • Providing guidance and direction to department managers with regards to employee development and relations issues including hiring, training, counseling, coaching, and disciplining departmental employees

     

    ABOUT YOU We’d love to hear from you if you:

    • Have experience in the application of Local Employment Laws or Court Precedents in a variety of jurisdictions in Asia
    • Display comprehensive knowledge of traditional and future focussed Human Resources functions
    • Exhibit well developed and professional leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm

     

    And have:

    • A Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years Human Resources Management experience
    • Experience in Human Resources Management is essential
    • Excellent leadership skills (i.e., organizing, planning, problem-solving and decision-making) necessary for effective management
