    Role Overview:
    Could you be our next Broadcast Technician? Globe Life is looking for an experienced Broadcast Technician to join the team!
    In this role, you will be responsible for broadcasting and executing live presentations for a global company. A special emphasis is placed on presentation, maintenance and implementation of Globe Life’s recording studio and live presentation venues at our headquarters and occasionally remote locations.

    This is an onsite position located in McKinney, TX.

    What You Will Do:
    • Implement content creation and maintain equipment of Globe Life resources, including executing presentations in Globe Life studios and the Globe Life conference center that involve audio, video, and lighting.
    • Program AVL equipment for upcoming productions.
    • Edit video and audio recordings as needed for distribution.
    • Research and suggest facility and equipment upgrades, modifications, evaluation of equipment alternatives, and equipment selection and configuration.

    What You Can Bring:
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, broadcast, telecommunications, or video production from four-year college or university.
    • Must have 5 years of professional live video and post-production experience.
    • Must be able to learn new technologies and become a power user.
    • Ross touchdrive switcher or similar switcher experience.
    • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, Mac and PC operating systems.
    • Stellar written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and an aptitude for making quick, quality decisions.

    • Programming and operation of broadcast switchers, soundboards, DMX lighting consoles, broadcast cameras, and other media studio equipment

    • Assist in the repair of media equipment and coordination with manufacturers for repair of resources.

    • Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and other networking aspects a plus

    • Standard theatrical rigging practices and competencies

    • Video and audio post-production capabilities.

    • Expertise in signal path and distribution of audio/video sources delivery across multiple end sources and channels

    • Stellar written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and an aptitude for making quick, quality decisions

    • Must be highly detail-oriented and self-motivated

    • Excellent organization and time management skills

    • Ability to progress multiple tasks and projects during similar timeframes

    • Professional demeanor, yet great sense of humor
