  • Responsibilities

    This position will be responsible for researching and processing rejected premium payments.  The candidate will be able to analyze payments received from various applications and apply them to the appropriate policies keeping in mind that we are responsible for servicing the customer, the agents and Globe Life.

    Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that you maintain a professional relationship with customers, co-workers and management.

     

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONSIST OF:

     

     

     

    • Processing exception premium payments through ImageRPS software, mainframe, and other systems
    • Conducting research using multiple systems and resources in order to apply premium payments accurately
    • Handling payments via check, money order, cash, or ePay
    • Daily balancing of all payments processed
    • Process refunds to policyholders when necessary
    • Working with internal departments and/or third party vendors when needed to resolve payment questions
    • Accounting entries as needed

     

    Required Skills

    • Basic Accounting skills including familiarity with general ledger entries
    • Knowledge of 10-key calculator
    • Basic use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word required
    • Detail oriented; ability to conduct in-depth research using multiple systems
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Available to work overtime as needed
    • Good interpersonal skills

    Required Experience

    • High School/Equivalent
    • Some college preferred
    • Combination of education/experience taken into account
    • Previous banking, insurance, or remittance processing experience a plus
  • Qualifications
