Are you a commercially-minded Legal Counsel ready to move beyond being a cost center and become a critical enabler of business growth? We are seeking a dynamic lawyer to join our expanding global legal team in Dallas, serving as a trusted advisor across the Americas.
This is a high-profile, centralized role that blends sophisticated commercial contracting with a technology-first mindset. You will be front and center in transforming our legal function, utilizing AI and innovation to accelerate business velocity and enable sales.
What You'll Do
You will be the primary legal support for the Americas, focusing on rapid, high-quality execution of commercial agreements and actively contributing to our legal innovation roadmap. Your responsibilities will fall into these key areas:
Commercial Contracting: Draft, negotiate, and approve agreements (client contracts, vendor contracts, NDAs) with priority and pace. You will be the go-to expert for commercial teams, providing rapid turnaround on deal support.
Legal Innovation & Process Improvement: Be invested in the technology side of legal. You will actively support the implementation of legal tech and AI solutions (e.g., CLM, AI-powered contract review) to streamline processes and enable self-service.
Regulatory Compliance Support: Advise the business on crucial US financial services regulations, securities law, MNPI handling, and data privacy laws. You'll ensure consistency and compliance across our operations.
Legal Advisory & Training: Provide integrated legal advice that skillfully balances risk with business opportunity. You will translate complex "letter of the law" into plain language and deliver training to commercial and HR teams.
Qualifications
Legal Qualification: from an accredited US law school and an active bar admission in Texas or another US state (or ability to obtain Texas bar admission).
Commercial Expertise: Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills with proven commercial contract experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Regulatory Knowledge: Experience or strong interest in financial services, securities law, MNPI, and compliance frameworks is highly desirable. Knowledge of IP and data protection laws is essential.
Innovation Mindset: A genuine enthusiasm for leveraging legal tech, AI solutions, and automation to move manual work into a tech-enabled structure.
Commercial Acumen: The ability to communicate legal advice in plain language and discuss legal strategy in terms of enabling sales and business velocity (volume/value of deals).
Execution & Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex, time-sensitive matters simultaneously.
Collaboration: A collaborative team player who thrives in high-growth environments and can build strong working relationships with commercial, compliance, and technology teams.
Preferred Experience: Candidates from SaaS companies, technology-first environments, or data/information services are highly sought after.

Compensation & Benefits: We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary and commission structure.
Vacation: 15 vacation days and 2 personal days, increasing to 20 vacation days after 2 years of service.
