    Finance Intern Location US-NC-Concord # Positions 1 Experience (Years) 4 Category Accounting / Finance Position Description Main Job Duties: Costing Responsibilities: Monitoring, collecting, updating, analyzing, summarizing and evaluating cost related information. Assist with the monthly financial close process and ensure the accuracy of system generated transactions and manual entries 2. CAPEX Standard Work: Begin documenting framework for standard work for CAPEX development Define Financial Template Standard work and interpretation of inputs working with locations and the corporate office where necessary. 3. Cost Model Standard Work: Expand on the standard work of the corporate Cost Model Begin working on suggesting and implementing a way to simplify the format of the current model or developing a secondary model that is more user friendly for functional use outside Finance. 4. Assist with monthly Fixed Asset maintenance related to operations 5. Enter JEs monthly 6. Perform monthly account reconciliations 7. Performs other similar and related duties as required. Qualifications Education: Completed at least 2 years towards a 5 year accounting degree. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Requires close attention to detail and requires strong organizational skills. Must have strong verbal and written communications skills. Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to use internet and web based resources efficiently and effectively .
