POSITION SUMMARY: The Event Coordinator is responsible for providing event assistance and support to Banc of California Stadium. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist in the development and management of all aspects of events as assigned. Serve as contact to clients and act as the liaison between the client and facility in providing and determining needs for events. Maintain positive rapport and form strong client and tenant relationships. Assist in enforcing facility rules, regulations, policies and procedures to clients and tenants. Compile and communicate all event requests and requirements to all related departments. Track and compile all event expenses and other financial reporting as it relates to assigned events. Work closely with Event Manager on various projects as needed. Provide necessary administrative assistance to the Event team. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management. QUALIFICATIONS: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. College degree from an accredited University in related field required. Minimum of 2 years event management experience required. 1-2 years experience working in professional sports/entertainment facility in a similar role strongly preferred. Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional guest and client service capabilities. Enterprising and self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work evenings and weekends and/or holidays & overtime as required. Proficient in Spanish is a plus.
